James Trosh is a freelance filmmaker living in London and a recent graduate of Television Production.  He was part of last year’s Smile for London with a short film called ‘Toy Robot in Space’, which was a short clip from a music video he had directed.  Since then the video has been shown at the BBC Music Video festival, at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, and in a nationwide advertising campaign for camera manufacturer GoPro in the US.

For this year’s Smile for London campaign, James has collaborated with cameraman Liam Southall (www.liamsouthall.com) and actress Sophie Wardlow (www.sophiewardlow.co.uk) to shoot a short 20-second video response to the poem ‘To A Messy Flatmate’.
